You can install SMART Learning Suite using the complete installer or the web-based installer. The following table explains the differences between the two installers.

Using the complete installer

You can start the complete installer by downloading the complete installer from the SMART website.

To download and start the complete installer from the website

Go to https://education.smarttech.com/en/products/notebook/download#admin.
Select SMART Notebook 18 from Select your version.
Select Windows from Change operating system.
Select USB Installer from Select install package.
Click DOWNLOAD - WINDOWS.
Save the smart18-0usb.exe download file to your computer.

Notes

If you install the software without a valid Product Key you’ll receive a 45-day trial.

To install the software using the complete installer

Start the complete installer as described in the previous procedure.
The SMART Learning Suite Installer window appears.
Notes

The License Agreement window appears.
Review the terms in software license agreement, and click Close.
If you accept the terms, select I have read the accept the terms of use check box.
Click Next.
The installation proceeds.
Once the installation is complete, click Finish.

Using the web-based installer

You can download the web-based installer from the SMART website, and then double-click the downloaded file to begin the installation.

To download and start the web-based installer

Go to https://education.smarttech.com/en/products/notebook/download#students.
Choose a Download Type.
Enter your information into the following fields:
1. First Name
2. Last Name
3. Job Title
4. Email
5. Country
Select the service agreement check box.
Select Windows under Change operating system.
Click DOWNLOAD - WINDOWS.
Save the file to a temporary location.
Browse to and double-click the file.
The SMART Learning Suite Installation Wizard appears.
